Dr Eggbot is a Grok Bot template for creating another Bot from a guided preference interview instead of starting with a blank instruction box.
What it does
The x.ai listing says Dr Eggbot asks a few questions and then creates a structured Bot with CreateAgent. Coding Bots receive the creator's poteto-mode conventions, while non-coding Bots use a similarly focused structure. Lauren's launch post describes the first release as a Bot that makes high-quality coding and non-coding Bots.
The template is most useful as a starting system for one clear job. Its output still needs review: generated instructions can conflict, a tool may be unavailable, and a rule that improves one behavior can weaken another.
Who it is for
The clearest fit is someone who knows the job they want a Bot to do but does not yet have a strong instruction structure.
