Clip Bot
Cut captioned social clips from YouTube interviews and podcasts, complete with karaoke captions and a source card.
About Clip Bot
Clip Bot is a Grok Bot template for finding usable moments in YouTube interviews and podcasts, then turning them into captioned social clips.
What it does
The current x.ai listing says Clip Bot creates 16:9 highlights with karaoke-style captions, a source card, and a finished file placed in the user's folder. Lon Harris's launch reply describes the simpler starting point: give it a YouTube video and ask it to pull captioned clips.
That makes the template useful for repurposing long-form material you own or have permission to edit. It does not remove the need to review the selected moment, caption accuracy, rights, or platform rules before publishing.
Who it is for
The clearest fit is a podcast, interview, or creator team that already has long-form source material and wants a faster first cut. It is a weaker fit when footage rights are unclear or when the editor needs frame-level creative control throughout the process.
